The City of Los Angeles Workforce Investment Board's first quarterly meeting of 2015 is planned for Thursday, February 5th at Expo Center, 10:00am to Noon.

The meeting will include a presentation by Bob Lanter, Executive Director of the California Workforce Association, regarding the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA). WIOA is the primary federal funding source for the City's WorkSource/America's Job Centers of California and the YouthSource Center network. The presentation will discuss service changes required and opportunities offered by the WIOA.
