The LA Basin RPU is comprised of seven local Workforce Development Boards serving 88 cities in the LA Basin. The LA Basin Regional Plan is built upon four strategic goals to ensure the regional workforce system: (1) is demand-driven, reflecting the needs of priority sectors; (2) is inclusive and accessible, enabling all individuals to train for and obtain a quality job; (3) seeks alignment across disciplines, including workforce services, education, and economic development, and; (4) uses regional sector pathway strategies to build a skilled and competitive workforce.
