Los Angeles Summer Youth Employment Program Becomes Largest in Nation

On Thursday, June 13th, Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, Chairman of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, announced L.A. County’s $5 million commitment to the Summer Youth Employment Program “Earn and Learn.” An additional $2 million contribution from the L.A. City Council, along with additional support from private companies like Wells Fargo, has made the Los Angeles Summer Youth Employment Program the largest in the nation.
