Adine Forman is the Executive Director of the Hospitality Training Academy (HTA), Los Angeles, a nonprofit labor-management partnership, Taft-Hartley Trust Fund organization.
In this capacity, Ms. Forman formulates workforce development policies and implements attendant programs of benefit to the 22,000 members of the UNITE HERE Local 11 hospitality and food services union. She also maintains a pipeline of skilled workers to meet the human capital needs of HTA affiliated employers.
Prior to joining the HTA, Ms. Forman was the Director of Government Affairs and Special Projects for Jewish Vocational Services (JVS), Los Angeles. Her responsibilities included soliciting public funding and implementing related workforce development programs to enable economically disadvantaged adults to enter the labor force and assist dislocated workers in obtaining replacement employment.
